How to Face telephonic interview
Nowadays many companies interview the candidates on the phone as a first step since it is both convenient and also saves a lot of time. Here are some tips for a telephonic interview preparation :
1. Take it seriously
Chahe interview phone par ho, it is still an interview and you must make a good impression on your interviewer. Yaad rahe, aapko interview ke aglay round ke liye tabhi bulya jayega, if you are successful in your phone interview. Isliye please apne phone interview ko bhi seriously lein.
2. Do your homework
Jis company ka interview ho raha hai, us ke barey mein appko sab jaankari honi chahiye. Prepare yourself about the industry, the job and the company. Aapko apne SmartProfile™ ke barey mein bhi sab jaankari honi chahiye so that you can answer any question.
3. How to Prepare for interview with intelligent questions
Most phone interviews will allow you to ask questions, isliye apne question ko likh kar list tayyar rakhiye.
4. Find a quiet room
Interview ke liye ek aisa room chuniye jo shor aur bheed se door ho aur jahan aap shanti se apna interview de sakein. Avoid markets, coffee shops etc which are very noisy and can distract you.
5. Make sure your phone is charged
Agar app mobile phone se baat kar rahe hain, make sure that your phone is charged and will not run out of battery in the middle of the interview. Aur aap kisi aisi jagah se baat karein jahan network coverage poora ho.
6. Stand-up and smile
Ho sakey to aap apna interview khade hokar aur muskurate huey dijiye. Aisa karne se appki awaaz mein confidence jhalkegi.
7. Let your voice be your body language
Kisi se bhi baat karte samay aapki body language bahut important hoti hai. On the phone use your voice as your body language to sound interested and engaged.
8. Do not talk too much
Since you cannot see your interviewer on the phone sometimes you tend to talk too much. Is baat ka khayal rakhiye aur apne answers chhotey aur to-the-point rakhiye.
9. Keep enough time
Kai baar phone interviews are longer than expected. Apna interview itminaan se deeijye aure jaldi mat machaiye.
10. Take notes
Take notes of the questions you are asked and the comments that are made. Is se aapko apne aglay interview round mein madad milegi.
All the best for your interview!
