3 Skills You Need For Getting Hired At a Data Entry Job.
If one is looking for data entry jobs in Delhi, it makes sense to do some research and understand what he or she needs to be good at even to be considered for the position. Here are three must-haves:
Typing Skills: This of course is a given. In order to go for data entry jobs in Delhi or any other part of India for that matter, very accurate typing skills are a must. Most data entry positions require keying in a string of numbers, codes or personal information and it is very important that the candidate is able to do this without making mistakes. In addition to this, one is also required to touch type, i.e. type without looking at the keyboard.
Typing Speed: Speed is another very critical aspect. Not only is it important to type correctly but also very important to type fast. While speed can be improved with practice and made better over time, a basic requirement of at least 60 words a minute is on demand even to be hired into a data entry position. Most people know that they are meant to be doing when applying for a position. For e.g. when applying for a field job in Delhi it makes sense to consider the amount of day-to-day travel. Similarly for a data entry job accuracy and speed are a factor.
Software Experience: It helps to and in some cases is a requirement to have basic knowledge of software such as Word, Excel, Power Point etc. In most cases a working knowledge of MS office is what employers would be looking for.
