MeraJob is a Strategic Partner for the National Career Service

To bring good jobs to the youth, and resolving the inefficiencies in traditional and online hiring, these are the missions that drive MeraJob from strength to strength. And, it gives us great pride to announce one of our biggest achievements in this journey so far – signing an MoU with the National Career Service (NCS). Speaking on the occasion, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, Minister of State, said that the Government is committed to provide more employment opportunities and signing of this MoU is a step in this direction.

The NCS is the government’s portal (under the Ministry of Labour and Employment) for providing career-related services to the public. They have a collected database of 36 million job seekers across India which is one of the richest such databases of its kind in the world. As a strategic partner, MeraJob can post jobs on the NCS portal and access these 36 million job seekers, in addition to the 2.15 million SmartProfilesTM we have already curated.

This impacts not only our reach, but is also a giant leap in addressing the underserved market of low-end and mass hiring. The database with the NCS penetrates the numbers of job seekers to an extent unmatched by any other career service in the country. This coverage will revolutionise recruitment by bringing every job seeker to a common platform, and letting them experience the benefits of Job Portal 2.0.

If you are an employer, in search of the right talent for your vacancies, this means you can now harness the power of MeraJob's platform to reach these 36+ million candidates. You can cast a very wide net in the talent pool, and then MeraJob's powerful Pre-Screening engines can filter out the best candidates for your consideration. In effect, we source the highest number of candidates and then pre-screen them for right fit.
