Job Description

Responsibilities :

  • Design and develop effective measurable and scalable training content and modules for business
  • Use a variety of learning and training concepts and principles for leadership and behavioral training delivery
  • Develop and conduct trainings in necessary additional themes like emotional intelligence, motivation, self-management, communication etc.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to conduct training needs analysis 
  • Design, develop and evaluate various training methodologies. Eg.- classroom and online training
  • Extend support to all functions of the business and direct training efforts as per organizational objectives
  • Liaise with management across the organization to ensure organization objectives and learning & development objectives are constantly aligned
  • Determine appropriate learning vehicles and delivery channels to achieve desired performance and effectiveness
  • Streamline global training efforts in order to maintain international bi-annual/annual training calendars
  • Implement regular training needs identification exercises across all locations
  • Design and maintenance support of training intranet
  • Maintain the training calendar

Selection Criteria

Required Background :

  • Must possess a graduation degree in any discipline (a Master’s degree or an MBA qualification is preferred) 
  • Coaching or any other certifications will be an added advantage
  • Should have ‘trained’ on leadership and behavioral topics during the last 4+ years across levels
  • Should have regularly ‘trained’ ranks equivalent to or higher than ‘operational managers’ 
  • Soft skills, and managerial development training is a prerequisite
  • Should have demonstrated innovation, creativity, and initiative in creating training and OD initiatives in current job
  • International training experience is a plus and should also be willing to travel domestically and internationally
  • Experience in training delivery companies would be an added advantage
  • Must possess excellent communication, presentation skills and a good personality

   Familiarity with basic office skills such as :

  1. Drafting impeccable business communication
  2. Conducting research on the Internet
  3. Creating presentations will be required
